Жду с нетерпением нового альбома.Старый заслушала до дыр

Читал кстати что вполне возможно что новый альбом будет распространятся через сеть так как у них с предыдущим альбомом были накладки в виду лейбла который этот диск издавал он засудил 30stM,за то что по контракту они не вовремя сделали диск.оговаривалось что они должны были его выпустить ещё в 2005 году.Вобщем они пересорились и отказались от услуг этого лейбла,щаз нашли другой,и чтобы такой ситуации не повторялось впредь будут искать новые пути продажи(по аналогии с продажей английских рок-групп,именно они первые начали продавать диски в сети)

30 Seconds to Mars планируют выход «грандиозного» сингла и короткометражного фильма.

По словам Джареда Лето, группа еще не определилась с названием нового альбома.

В записи нового альбома 30 Seconds To Mars уже приняли участие: Канье Вэст, Брендон Флауэрс, голоса фанов, иранцы с Твиттера и Тибетские монахи, но группа упустила один важный момент – название альбома.

Безусловно, в течение последних месяцев, были сообщения, что альбом будет называться «This Is War» — как ссылка, в частности, на длинный (хотя сейчас урегулированный) судебный процесс, который они вели с их прежним лейблом.

"На счет названия альбома, мы еще не решили на 100 %, но я думаю, когда запись будет завершена, я сяду и буду размышлять, пока не буду уверен на 1000%, что название должно быть «This Is War», или стоит идти дальше. Я думаю это действительно было отражением того периода, когда мы работали над записью и в творческом значении и личном значении также", рассказал на прошлой неделе фронтмен 30 STM Джаред Лето.

Времени, чтобы определиться с названием осталось не так много. Джаред сообщил, что группа находится «в самом, самом конце» процесса записи, и альбом будет готов в конце этого года. И в спешке завершения записи (и сопроводительного документального фильма), его дом в Лос-Анджелесе — или, как он его называет «лаборатория» — трансформировался в гудящий улей деятельности, как музыкальной, так и визуальной.

«Кто-нибудь всегда работает в лаборатории. Мы также снимаем фильм, так что съемочная группа и редакторы находятся в доме. Я просыпаюсь и здесь есть люди, которые работают, и когда я иду спать есть люди, которые работают. Это фабрика и эта окружающая энергия вдохновляет. Мне это нравится», рассказывает Джаред.

И хотя все еще нет заглавия для альбома, Джаред сообщил, что он и его товарищи по группе уже выбрали первый сингл. Конечно, зная 30 STM, это не будет просто песней, а чем-то большим.

«Мы собираемся сделать некоторые анонсы очень, очень скоро, и очевидно это будет короткометражный фильм для первого сингла, и турне в поддержку. Я не могу подтвердить название сингла, но я знаю какая это песня... Я думаю, что она может стать очень особенной песней, когда впервые ее слышишь. Это будет грандиозно», рассказывает Джаред Лето.

The Face of Mars Cover Campaign Starts September 11th

First Single “Kings and Queens” at Modern Rock Radio Early Oct


Los Angeles, CA – September 11, 2009 – Following up on their incredibly successful sophomore release, A Beautiful Lie, multi-platinum rock band Thirty Seconds To Mars are hard at work on their highly anticipated upcoming record, “THIS IS WAR” (EMI’s Virgin Records) set to hit on November 24th. The album was produced by Flood (U2, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails), Steve Lillywhite (The Rolling Stones, U2) and Thirty Seconds To Mars. First single Kings and Queens at modern rock radio early next month. Fall tour dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

In an innovative and exciting move, Thirty Seconds to Mars’ upcoming release, This Is War, will have 2000 different album covers featuring individual photos of fans from around the world. Starting Friday, September 11th at 12pm PDT fans will be able to submit photos to be used for the covers by pointing their browser to www.thirtysecondstomars.com. The first 2000 photos to be uploaded that follow the proper specifications will become album covers. The campaign will run until 2000 usable covers have been uploaded to thefaceofmars@gmail.com

Thirty Seconds To Mars’ Jared Leto (vocals, guitar, songwriter), Shannon Leto (drums) and Tomo Miličević (guitar) teamed up with their fan community, The Echelon, earlier this year to record sounds for the upcoming record in a groundbreaking event they dubbed, “The Summit”. The band invited The Echelon members to travel to Los Angeles to take part in an impromptu recording session at Hollywood’s Avalon Club.
